Perhaps you could put it onto iCloud Drive instead? I've given up any hope of iBooks syncing PDFs across all my devices, instead I made a folder in iCloud Drive called FU iBooks, which is easily accessed by all my devices wot can access iCloud Drive.

Mac User Group has a great way of distributing its membership cards to new or renewing members: in the form of a thank-you email & receipt, with the card being at the bottom of the email. The trick is to print the entire thing onto a sheet of A4 paper & cut out the card section. Card sleeves are available at the monthly meeting and at two of the three shorter-duration satellite groups later innthe month. Alternatively they can me laminated at the main monthly meeting.
Finally got mine sent today, 5 weeks after I paid my membership fee. Already printed, cut out & laminated.

Somewhat bothered by three ganglion cysts, two in the 2nd & 3rd knuckles of my left middle finger and one on the outside of my left wrist. The finger ones restrict full finger movement, hence the annoyance.

Just remembered I need to get my car serviced, a month earlier than the mechanic's estimated schedule. The unexpected 1200 km interstate trip to my uncle's funeral threw out the estimate. I get it serviced every six months or 10,000 km, whichever occurs first. Its done about 245,000 km, I've done about ⅓ of that total in four years.

He offered a 5-month extension to the free 1 month trial of 1Password membership. No use to me, since I already own the various forms of 1Password that I need, so I'll not need to rent them at $2.99 per month.

I still have the handsfree kit for a Nokia 2110. I bought a cheap Philips PR747 to use with it because apart from the Nokia name & squared-off corners, they were identical: the Philips was a clone of the 2110. Such phones are no good here. The three network providers have or are scheduled to shut down the 2G spectrum by September.

Received an email from Apple asking me to confirm that I wanted to reset the password of one of my Apple IDs.

I hadn't made any such request so I went thru the "iforgot" process and reset to to something quite different.

I've been short-changing myself when doing coffee with the capsule espresso machine: been using an excessively large cup, almost twice the capacity recommended. So I've doubled the number of capsules used per brew - much more betterer.

Two backups were just run together, one a SuperDuper! clone, the other a Time Machine backup. The former was via USB 2.0 & the latter over FireWire 800. I do a fiddle with Terminal to take Time Machine from a background operation & make it a high-priority one instead.

The Time Machine backup of 7.5 GB finished 5 minutes before the 6 GB clone, despite the clone having started a minute before the Time Machine drive was connected.

This MB Pro can only have USB 3.0 when a dock or an adaptor is attached via Thunderbolt & the T/bolt connection is currently used for the 20-inch monitor.

Lost wifi internet, had to restore it so I could continue my Kindle experience.
