Was showing my widowed aunt some old (1932 & 1961) photos on my phone. She was interested in getting copies of two of them, so I offered to print & mail them to her.

Then back at the motel I decided to order the prints via the Mac's Photos app instead. Much easier. Done.

No, not as such. But there is now: the RSMs three sons have all served in Afghanistan & Iraq.

Two of Uncle Harry's sons, also my first cousins.

Uncle Harry at his best.

I checked my superannuation fund this morning, it's currently getting 7.4% pa on a conservative mix of investments.

I'm well pleased with that.

Motel units never have enough power outlets for a switched-on guy like me. That's why I carry a small powerboard in the car: it has a pair of three-pin Australian 240 volt outlets and four USB charging ports for a total of 2.1 Amps. Currently* it's charging the iPad Mini, iPod Touch & its battery case plus a 12,000 mAh lithium-ion battery pack.

*accidental pun

There's something intrinsically wrong with the way ceiling fans are installed in Australia. I have never yet found one without speeds 1 & 3 transposed. They have three rotational speeds.
Or possibly I using the scale incorrectly: the 1 to 3 scale means least fast rather than fast. So with 1 being the highest speed & 3 being the lowest, this makes sense. Sort of.

Can't use the MBA effectively at present. Index finger on one hand & middle finger on the other are taped up to cover/treat dermatitis, they are each half of the required fingers for scrolling on a trackpad. I have a Logitech mouse but the batteries are dead. They were OK a few weeks ago when last used. They came with the mouse & have been in it since new, Logitech claims a life of 12 months for alkaline cells in this mouse. I bought the mouse in October. In 2015. Not unreasonable, I guess. A Magic Moue would kill those cells in 3 weeks.

Ditto.

@kdfrawg It's because you've been hitting the turps a bit hard lately. Everything's blurred.
