@hazardwarning Streaming or downloading are options, apparently it can be set to start podcasts with known startup bullshit after the bullshit has finished.

@kdfrawg I last used my iPad Mini 2 some 29 hours ago at lunch at a Mac User group meeting. Since then, I briefly used an iPod Touch before its battery died & nneded recharging. In fact the iPad, iPhone & MacBook Air are still in the briefcase in the car. I've been using the MacBook Pros (2008 & 2011 15-inchers) and the 6-inch Windows Phone today & last night.

@tomas Please. Don't do it here. It smells, attracts flies & raises the tone of the neighbourhood.
@joeo10 Ditto on the cross-platform thing. They even have a Windows Phone version of the app. Besides, I should support (semi) local developers. They're somewhere in the next state to the west of here.

I took a funny turn a few months ago at the Men's Shed, the other members sent me off to hospital in an ambulance. I protested it wasn't necessary, but was over-ruled. I was billed almost $1200 for the 20-minute journey.
If I had been an Ambulance member, then I'd have been covered.
About 9 years ago it cost $65 per annum to become a member and today I checked to see how much that figure had increased in that timeframe.
It hadn't increased, in fact, the cost was $20 per annum less.
$45 for great peace-of-mind. And I am prone to falls now I have major knee & minor hip problems.
This, folks, is how to run a red light. https://twitter.com/Motorwaymayhem_/status/838062295632707584
I have just realised that now my cataracts are rectified, I should be able to use my binoculars again. It's been a few decades since that was possible.
My Windows Phone has a 365 day prepaid data allowance of 42GB or 43008 MB, that equates to 117 MB per day. Since activating it on Thursday morning (it's now Saturday night) I've used 114 MB. So I'm nicely ahead.
The Men's Shed iMac has consumed 9GB of data since mid-November when we added 14GB to the existing 2GB prepaid allowance with a special double-data deal. Just over 7GB remaining after 3.5 months (Shed operates 2 days per week).
