@jussipekonen A social group I was with years ago had an arrangement with the owners of the building we met in: rent free if we maintained it inside & out. One time when it needed repainting inside, we moved all the furniture & fittings we could to the storeroom & covered the rest. One of the group was a spray painter by trade & it didn't take long at all to finish the painting.
Dec/January & June/July are expensive months for me: Dec 31: Body Corporate fees for 6 months plus car insurance & automobile club membership. June 30: 6 more months of Body Corp, then July 1: 12 months of car registration.
At least, by buying the car used, I was able to separate the insurance & registration dates by 6 months.
Great. More blood, from another finger. Scratching around in a shopping bag for a blister pack of painkillers. Trouble is, the plastic bag was sitting on top of the unpacked 60%* of the cutlery set I got at Xmas last year. There's 25 items in the box & 5 on display in a semi-open space. Just my luck to grab a hold of the edge of a steak knife.
- I unpacked 20 items for use: 4 each of knife, fork, spoon, teaspoon & steak knife. The set has 10 of each.
I use tungsten darts weighing 22 grams. Another player in the comp (who's approaching 91-yrs-old) expects his new darts to arrive soon. He's ordered 42 gram brass darts.
Could I repeat the recipe for the pasta dish I've just cooked and partly eaten? Most unlikely, nothing was measured other than using all the meat & an entire jar of sauce.
Excellent spicy tomato & minced lamb sauce, the extra hit of chilli & garlic has lifted the flavour profile nicely without overpowering the meat or tomato. Spaghetti noodles served al dente.
I have some minced lamb in the fridge, so I'll use it as the base for spaghetti sauce. I always have some pasta & tomato-based cooking sauces on hand.
@gtwilson It was unpleasant. I have a definite gag reflex when it comes to under-cooked egg yolk. That particular pizza could be ordered two ways: "Aussie with pineapple" or ā€¯Hawaiian with egg."
Doctor suggested I tape my little finger to the adjacent finger to act as a splint so I can't move the 2nd joint in that ring finger until further healing of the gash occurs. Done that, also added more padding to the little finger dressing.
The little town I visit every ten days or so to buy decent milk doesn't have a traditional butcher shop. Instead there's a "meat showcase."
