Aldi has a special deal on a couple of TVs today. I don't need the 80" one, it'd be far too big for my living room, whereas the 32" one is fine. Just a basic LED device, but it replaces a 15-yr-old CRT analogue unit with a digital set-top box. Nice price, too.
A feature of CleanMyMac app is the menubar mini-app. It lets you free up RAM; check memory pressure in Activity Monitor; open new Finder windows; monitor, view & empty the trash; open the Energy Saver system preference or directly launch the main app.
When it's available in the menubar, that is. It had vanished from my MBA, despite setting the app to display it.
Tried reinstalling the app, no go. I sent of a fault report then, in desperation, restarted from my DiskWarrior USB stick.
Replacing the MBA's directory restored the missing CleanMyMac mini app to visibility & full function.
@matigo USB. The iPod 5th generation was the last one that used the FireWire connection.
A few weeks ago I helped a fellow to extract the music from his iPod Classic into iTunes on his new MBA.
He couldn't do this himself because his charge/sync cable was buggered.

Three weeks ago I slashed a finger open, just above the 2nd knuckle. I removed the latest butterfly wound closure (replaced every few days) last night and it's healed pretty well. A bit ugly & red at present but definitely better.
Pancake recipe was from the 1989 edition of a cookbook first produced by the Presbyterian Womens Missionary Union in 1904.
It's chock full of the sort of stuff I grew up eating.
I've been hoarding my limited amount of intense drinking chocolate as I couldn't find that brand anywhere at anything other than a stupidly high price. But now a grocery clearance store has it back in at about ΒΌ of retail price. Bough two cans.
