Accidentally set up Text Message Forwarding on my iPhone. Now my iMac, MacBook Air, iPod Touch & iPad can send & receive “green” SMS & MMS messages in addition to the standard “blue” iMessages.
Grrrrr. People. “I don’t fully understand how this or that feature on my iPhone works therefore it’s Apple's fault.”
No.
@hazardwarning YOU’RE DOING IT WRONG!!!
Works for me most times, when it doesn’t it shows a fingerprint icon. Tap that then Touch ID can be used.
High Sierra updates, to 10.13.1 & iTunes 12.7.1 are available. I don't see the iTunes update on the MacBook Air because I installed the enterprise version 12.6.3 to replace 12.7. Thus I can still control apps ion connected iOS devices. The instruction notes for iTunes 16.6.3.(6) mention that future updates will have to be done manually, today's MAS update list shows this to be true.
@indigo It's another stupid American import that has no place in our tradition. Don't get me wrong, there are great American cultural aspects but this bullshit Hallowe'en shit isn't one of them.

Tried to print a job with my Fuji-Xerox laser printer, it didn't want to work at all, the dialog box in the print window either said it was offline or waiting to finish an existing job. Neither of those statements were true.
F-X are known to be a tad slack with certain printer drivers, I certainly hadn't downloaded any for macOS 10.13, but I had for 10.12. They'd been slow in getting drivers for it under El Capitan but this time there's a High Sierra version. Installed & works fine.

Three conspiracy theorists walk into a bar.
You can't tell me that's just coincidence.
