@sumudu I've just edited it to correct a few incorrect details.

@kdfrawg The keyboard & mouse that shipped with the iMac were pre-paired in the factory, I just have to turn them on to connect them. The iMac came with a Lightning cable for charging them: as soon as the cable is connected, Bluetooth shuts off & charging begins.

@sumudu Some Android tablets do support mouses, apparently. I saw supporting documentation to that effect with a cheap Android tablet I bought in a moment of weakness in 2013.

@sumudu I'm using mine with an iMac. I prefer it to the standard Apple keyboard because the back is pitched up at a higher angle, the keys have more travel & it never needs charging.

@sumudu Well, your choices are processor speed (1.2 GHz m3 & 1.3 GHz Core i5 or 1.4 GHz Core i7) RAM (8 GB or 16 GB) and storage size (256 GB or 512 GB).
Base model with 256 GB/8 GB RAM & 1.2 GHz processor tests as 6773 (Multicore) on Geekbench 4, which is line-ball with the 2017 2.2 GHz i7 MacBook Air's score of 6803 under the same conditions.
I do believe such a configuration would be most suitable.

@kdfrawg I also use the keypad a lot. So I bought a Belkin Bluetooth YourType keypad. It's the same size & shape as the original Apple Trackpad.

@sumudu Refurbished Macs from Apple are only available online. Try refurb.me to see your local stock.

@kdfrawg Ah, so it is different to mine, the Logitech K760. The pic has the three Bluetooth channel keys annotated.

It's about 10 mm narrower than an 11-in MBA.
@streakmachine When my DP G5 PowerMac died, I was left with a 20-inch LCD Apple Cinema Display doing nothing as the replacement G5 PowerMac used a dual DVI connection setup. I quickly swapped it for the 17-inch
LCD Apple Studio Display, which then was added to a friend's big collection as I owed him a few favours. Both of these displays are the acrylic bodied things using the ADC connection (data, video, USB, audio & power). Right handy having a pair of USB 1.1 ports & a pair of FireWire 400 ports on the back of the display.

@streakmachine And one of the reasons why I love my (donated) 2005 12-in G4 PowerBook. Plus, the graphics card in that thing had more grunt that the Intel integrated one in the MacBook that succeeded it the following year.
