Wow. It’s been about 36 hours without any ankle pain or inconvenience. Yet 6 days ago I couldn’t even walk without a forearm crutch fo support. The sole difference in treatment has been occasional ice packs.
I really must avoid spicy food at night - gastric reflux ensues. For example, over Saturday night/Sunday morning I filled a bucket full of used tissues and vomit following a tasty Thai takeaway meal.
Sleep continues to elude me tonight/this morning. 4:15 am and I’ve been awake for almost two hours after catching a few hours of rest.
Last night I watched a documentary on a guy who worked sixty hours a week crushing coke cans.
It was soda pressing.
Today I have officially been sober for one hundred days.
Not like, in a row or anything, just in total.
Yesterday evening I had to change a lightbulb, a bit later on I crossed the road. Then I walked into a bar..
My life is a joke.
Almost 5:30 pm. Not a hint of pain or inconvenience from the dodgy ankle today.
@kdfrawg "Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men, even when they exercise influence and not authority: still more when you superadd the tendency or the certainty of corruption by authority."
