Two apps that are casualties of the move to High Sierra are Windows Phone & Nokia Photo Transfer. To get a pic off the Lumia 1520 I Bluetoothed it to a PPC Mac then used a USB stick to get it onto the iMac. BT transfer took 2 minutes for the 25 MB file.
@kdfrawg There's several walking tracks over some steep hills & gullies in the area. One particular one is signposted at a 90 minute trek. The group I was with did it in 25 minutes, this was long before I developed my joint problems. Now I can barely walk 600 metres without the left knee packing it in completely.
Day trip destination decided. http://parkweb.vic.gov.au/explore/parks/wilsons-promontory-national-park Wilson's Promontory is the southernmost point of mainland Australia. I have not been there for over 30 years.
Public holiday today. I'm going for a drive somewhere a few hours away that I'not visited for some time (if at all.) No idea where, though.
Stop somewhere for lunch & check out photographic opportunities.
My friend thinks he is smart!
He told me an onion is the only food that can make you cry, so I threw a coconut at his face.
I discovered today that I have an amazing talent.
I found I can melt ice cubes just by staring at them, it takes a few hours though.
I was snooping through my mum’s things and I found a whip, a mask, and handcuffs. I can’t believe it!!!
My mum’s a super hero.
@jws Sygic nav app warns me as soon as it detects overspeed, Navigon will only do so if I exceed the posted limits by 5km/hr. With the draconian traffic laws here, that's a fine & loss of licence demerit points if detected by police.
Sygic app running on the Lumia 1520 in the car’s glovebox in order to get accurate speed warning. Running Navigon on the iPhone as the actual navigation app, testing today’s update.
Realistically HERE WeGo is a better iOS navigation app & its free.
