Was wondering why my car had developed a rattling sound from the luggage area. It’s a small hatchback, almost ten years old & has covered almost 210,000 km. The rattle only started today.
Soon worked it out: the forearm crutch that’s normally situated immediately behind the front seats was in the luggage area, jammed in diagonally and vibrating against the hard plastic of the tailgate.

@phoneboy The Chief Justice of the Western Australian Family Court was not permitted to be involved in my nephew’s divorce. Mainly because he was the then wife’s father.

@matigo The speaker quality on the M1 MacBook Air is surprisingly good, especially the stereo separation. In my main bedroom I have a stereo pair on HomePod Minis, one on each side of the bed. So choosing to listen to music through the HomePods & the built-in speakers can be very pleasant.

@matigo In September last year a friend & his wife were stuck in Alice Springs in Australia’s Northern Territory, trying with a original iPhone SE & iPad Mini to negotiate COVID conditions online for access into the neighbouring state of Western Australia. Their issue was the fumble-finger faults with using such tiny keyboards. So they went hunting in various computer & electrical stores for a suitable external keyboard, until finding at their very last shop (an office supply place) a new M1 MacBook Air.
This was the answer to their prayers.
