Day one of COVID lockdown number 5. Initial duration 5 days. Three bastard furniture removalists from New South Wales were working & travelling while infected with the Delta srain. Came down from NSW into Victoria, one showered at a truckstop facility, passing on the infection there. Then they traversed the western side of Victoria & into South Australia, creating new COVID hotspots whereever they went. Witnesses report them NOT wearing facemasks while collecting furniture in a Melbourne resedential tower block for a South Australia delivery.

There were residents of the tower block at an Australian Rules football match with 32,000 fans attending. One tower block resident who tested positive now has 2000 close contacts, courtesy of the venue.

Another venue hosted a Rugby match with 20,000 fans. That place is now a COVID hotspot.

Hanging is too good for these arseholes who took no precautions while already infected. Authorities say the travelling removalists will feel the full pressure of the law in due course. They need to be anally raped with a rusty steel fence-post then slowly boiled in oil.

Seriously.

Another successful loaf of sourdough bread. Followed the instructions for a 900 gram loaf, result weighed 962 grams and fully filled the tin & rose all the way to the lower side of the viewing window on top of the breadmaker.
It smells wonderful & will be used to make tomorrow’s lunch

More sourdough bread mixing now. Compared to the first loaf with this bread mix & also the first with the new breadmaker, I’m using 30 ml less water and have set a lighter crust.

Not ones that go over the top, chance of burn injury, I believe. Besides, the rooms are NOT cold.

A couple of tear ago I bought two electric throw blankets, one for myself, the other for my mother, who always complained about the cold. Now she’s in aged care, she has no use for it, because the facility doesn’t allow such things. Yesterday mine stopped working, hers was available so I’m using it now.

The local shopping mall has a baby change room.
So if you don't like the baby you have…

Got my new credit card today But the only thing I can buy with it is coffee… Stupid American Espresso Card..

Apple's all-in-one gift card is now available in Canada and Australia.

In July 2020, Apple introduced a new all-in-one gift card in the United States that combines previously separate Apple Store and iTunes gift cards into one, and the combined gift card is now available in Canada and Australia as well.

The new Apple Gift Card can be applied towards "everything Apple," including purchases of Apple products and accessories, App Store apps, iTunes Store content like TV shows and movies, services like Apple Music and Apple Arcade, iCloud+ plans, and more. The gift card is available on Apple's website in digital and physical versions, with the physical card sent by mail including a collectible Apple logo sticker available in five designs.

Yesterday I visited my mother in the aged care facility where she now resides. Before that, I was driving past her empty house & dropped in for a cup of tea & a toilet visit.
My sister’s car was in the driveway, she left it there before taking a train, bus & plane trip to New Zealand for a short holiday.
In addition there were four shopping bags, left there by an idiot from one of the two local supermarkets, it was a home delivery gone wrong, having been dropped off at the wrong address.
I found paperwork in one of the bags, indicating an address one block away, so I delivered the bags to the intended recipient.
He was happy to get his order, although it was three days late. He’d received a text message from the delivery driver saying the packages had been delivered but he simply couldn’t see them anywhere!
He went on to say it was unfortunate that he’d have to throw out various perishables like meat & some vegetables to be on the safe side as they’d been unrefrigerated for those three days.
