More about the Olympus C750UZ digital camera. Yesterday I found the camera's OR remote control, initially I couldn't get it to work so I fitted a new CR2032 battery to it. Still no go, so I read the manual. I need to press the self timer button on the camera three times tio get into remote control mode. 1st press turns self timer on, 2nd press turns it off. 3rd press enables remote control usage. I can zoom in and out with the remote and trigger a shutter release with a three second delay. Damned if I can recall what the plus and minus buttons do, though. It's not exposure or if it is, the buttons do nothing.
Two years ago I qualified for a disability support pension. Only two days ago I discovered I could have saved around $300 each year by having a pensioner concession applied to the annual council rates. I handed in my concession application today, to be applied to future rates notices, including the ones issues three days ago.
@matigo Duck eggs are around 30% larger, with 15% more yolk, much thicker shell, terrific in custards, cakes, omelettes, scrambled eggs. Beaten duck eggs are more viscous than beaten chicken eggs.
Today I almost bought a carton of 10 duck eggs. But I still have six conventional eggs to go through first. Haven't had duck egges for about 35 years, a friend used to give them to me in batches of six or eight at a time. He, his wife and four kids couldn't eat all the eggs his ducks laid.
@matigo No orange juice as such but I do have two trees each laden with lots of fruit. And one of these to access the juice. Believe it or not, the cast iron juicer is heavier than my 27-inch Apple Studio Display.
GP says I have a virus so antibiotics will do nothing. Prescribed frequent drinks of water and paracetamol (aka acetaminophen) plus sources of vitamin C. The condition should improve over the next few days.
I’ve made an appointment with one of the other doctors at the clinic for tomorrow afternoon. Still go to make up a hospital essentials bag just in case. At least four days worth of clothes, toiletries, iPad, phone, Kindle and ways to keep them all charged
It happened again. Woke up with chills and severe shivering. Can’t get to see my GP until Monday so I’m off home to pack a hospital go-bag if needed. I had some blood tests due to be done this month, so they’ve been done. I got over the shivers and chills by crawling back into bed and cranking up the electric blanket to 50%..
I have to eat something, haven’t had much the last two days. So I’ve microwaved an individual meat pie and I’m going to eat the filling. I can manage that much.
