Digital TV set-top box/PVR has died, doesn't respond other than showing its standby LED. I've checked local suppliers. I hope to pick up a replacement unit tomorrow.

Got the Pismo from a friend who couldn't make it work. She'd previously fitted a DVD drive to it. It's a Combo drive, reads DVDs & writes CDs.
Pismo G3 can't boot from any internal drive so I installed Tiger onto a CF card & now it boots from that via a FireWire card reader. Network connection is via a Bluetooth 2.0 dongle that works fine over USB 1.0 - share from iPhone, iPad or Mac.
