@streakmachine My favourite version of Office as such actually pre-dated Office: it was Word 5.1a and Excel of which I can't recall the version number but both were on my very first Mac, the 1993 Mac Classic.

@literary @streakmachine In our Mac user Group, I'm the co-ordinator of a Special Interest sub-group that meets monthly. As such, I need to use more than one or two web browsers, so I have as many as seven or eight, including Vivaldi. Several ad-blockers are available for that browser, including uBlock & uBlock Original

Who, in his right mind, designs an upright freezer so the thermostat control is on the bottom and at the rear of the thing? Good thing it’s only an 80 litre unit. I managed to move it without hurting my bad back.
Examined my undershirt purchases a bit closer: they are 2-packs. So I've bought six for the normal price of two such items. I can get a decent bottle of whisky (or two) with the savings.
That worked out well. Went shopping guest athletic singlets, expecting to maybe find some that might fit and cost around $15. On the way to the department store I was heading for I found a menswear store selling a larger size at $10 each. These things always shrink, so I bought them there & then.
Yesterday the Men's Shed group had a guest speaker from a local funeral director. He speech was entertaining and informative. At the end she handed out info brochures and ballpoint pen with the company name and contact details labeled on them. The company is David Bull. I'm hopeless when it comes to puns, I just couldn't resist referring to them as bullpens.
Somehow gashed a finger open whilst defrosting the freezer. Didn't notice until blood splatters were seen on the floor. Hurting.
@matigo I read an article on Apple News just a few hours ago on the subject of "caffeine overdose." Such deaths are rare, to put it simply. You need to have at least 5 grams of caffeine (some experts say 10 grams) to OD on the stuff. That 5 gram figure apparently equates to 6 gallon of McDonalds "coffee."
