Older idiot Mac User Group member is having a big whine on the BBS about the latest monthly magazine on the website as having been uploaded in "Adobe" format which he claims makes it temperamental to download & impossible to read. He goes on the say the version available on the BBS is much more logical & easier to access.

But he's DOING IT WRONG!! There's absolutely no difference between the two versions, I have no Adobe PDF apps on my Macs & both versions are fine, download normally.
Seems apparent that he's got some odd PDF-handling settings in Safari that involve Adobe apps.

I'm spending far too much on Kindle books. So now I've taken up a free 30-day trial of Kindle Unlimited. If I don't cancel the service, I'm charged AU$13.99 per month for as many Kindle books as I can handle.
Lots of titles/series have been rejected as being too expensive, this will fix that.

Years ago I was almost run off the road by a country-based taxi onna cuty run. I nited his cab number, time, date & location of the incident and phoned the taxi company to report nob-professional driver behaviour. They replied a few days later saying he had been disciplined by being banned from city trips and castigated firmly.

If a telemarketer calls, hand the phone to a 3-year-old and tell him/her it's Santa.

WARNING: People who need to leave their homes today are advised that it is extremely Monday outside this morning.

YOU’RE DOING IT WRONG!!

500,000 or, if you used the tool daily for 75 years, 18 charges per day. In the USA it was sold under the Coleman brand.

I have a very handy cordless electric screwdriver, it operates at 5.4 v DC and can usually manage about 50-75 light-duty screws before needing a top-up. Doesn't sound much, but this thing has no batteries, instead it has a capacitor that takes only 90 seconds to fully charge from a completely dead state. It also had quite high torque for its driving duties. Here's. 2008 review of the thing: http://www.onlinetoolreviews.com/reviews/gmcfastcellscrewdrivers.htm, mine being the higher-capacity straight barrel design.

Blood test results all OK. Cholesterol is low, blood sugar a tad high but no higher than at an other time. Uric acid now being regulated, iron levels being monitored. No major areas of concern.
