I've been using this wrist brace since 2007, so I guess it's no surprise that one of the glued-on velcro fasteners came off. I used Velcro cable ties to replace the missing portion.
Must check my Roxio Toast DVD burning opgtions: a disc I made today won't play in DVD Player or VLC apps on my Macs yet the disc is fine on home DVD players. Fortunately that's its intended usage scenario.
Lazy bastard app devs. Banking app for iPhone supports Touch ID but not the iPad version. I mean, October 2014 is when Touch ID became available on the iPad.
The moral of the story: don't leave it so long between your Mac hardware updates.
Mac User Group member is going from a Tiger (10.4.11) Mac to a new MacBook Pro running 10.12.5 & wants to keep acess to his email. Is it still possible to set up POP mail on a new Mac?
I've suggested he clone the old Mac to an external USB drive then use it with Migration Assistant when setting up the new Mac.
Target Disk mode would be more complicated/expensive, involving at least three Thunderbolt & Firewire adaptors.

Had another one last night at 7:15 pm, "selling" a power supply pricing comparison. Already done that, managed to score a 34% discount for two years without leaving my current (accidental pun) supplier.
So I wasn't interested in their guff.

@literary I had one of those at the same time as a larger iPad 3. Frankly as far as performance went, there was no significant difference between the two despite the 3 having twice the RAM & a newer processor. Nice find at that price.
A couple of years ago I needed to shorten the leg length of some jeans I'd bought, there was no time to have them adjusted in a shop, so I used duct tape. To my surprise, that stuff survived dozens of hot water washes in the laundry. Today I bought some more jeans & used the same process to shorten them.
