Stitches scheduled for removal in just over 12 hours. Good. Won't need to be so careful when bathing to keep the area dry.*

*For the first week I used waterproof dressings while showering, removing them & replacing the with fresh dressings.
Then I thought, fuck it, I'll just make sure the sutured area is dried after showering (hairdryer on low setting) and use an iodine antiseptic under a new dressing.

That worked.

1Password 7 has just been announced. It's a paid update, I could have taken the membership option but don't like to be tied down to monthly fees, so I went for the licenced version. This one licence allows me to use it on as many Macs as I have.

Possibly, but the lumbar stenosis means I have a much narrower spinal canal than most folk, there's less space to work in & greater risk of making things worse.

When I say I fixed the sore back with an icepack, I meant the flare-up injury. The underlying cause of my relatively minor but permanent back pain (herniated lumbar discs & lumbar stenosis) remain unfixed.

Well, I fixed up my sore back with an icepack.

Chump. Once again I have ignored the therapeutic value of ice. Four hours ago I applied a towel-wrapped ice-gel pack to the sorest part of my lower back. Now it's not as painful, not fixed by any means but certainly feeling far better.

Only if I need to travel over 1 km on foot, back & arthritic knee doth protest mightily otherwise. Or if the right sciatica is playing up, the thing makes a seat immediately available.

Due to the back in its current state. It’s always sore, but I can normally cope with it’s vagaries. But I’ve done something in the last five days to aggravate the condition. I have no clue what or when that was.

I was referring to that tosser Evans as being an oxygen thief.

Lower back is giving much trouble today: can't think of any activity that may have strained it.
I had to bring my wheelie bin in today or it would have been vandalised or stolen, with limited mobility I used bungee cord to attach it to my rollator walker & pushed the thing back 58 very long (it seemed so to me) metres to my place.
