Trying to recall a method of saving a video file to a format that opens directly in a Mac's DVD player. It involves a particular suffix to the filename which I can't recall. I have saved several videos that way on the Men's Shed iMac, so I guess I'll have to wait until Wednesday when I'm next at the shed.
It's anvery simple process that totally escapes my memory thus far.

Sad news for my coffee intake. Gastric reflux really plays a major part in my lifestyle now. Spicy evening meals, while delicious WILL play merry hell with the system, leading to vomiting at night & dribbling foul brown gastric juices on clothing & bedding.
Real ground coffee consumed after about 4 pm also fucks things up the same way, but I can usually manage 3 to 4 cups daily until then. I can manage one cup of weaker instant coffee in the evenings & have to restrict the size/number of cups of tea.
For example about 5 hours ago I made a brew with my V60 dripper, it was really nice coffee but now my throat is irritated from the caffeine & my guts is in turmoil.
Decided to update my coffee-making kit. I've ordered a Hario V60 glass dripper which includes 100 paper filters, a decanter & a measuring spoon. Reasonably-priced at $40 including delivery.
Stitches are out! A precautionary steri-strip wound closure has gone over the spot & can be removed in two days. The actual biopsy revealed to be of the “cytolocical atypia” variety. Approx 50% of melanomas develop from moles so classified yet very few cytological atypia moles go on to become cancerous.
Stitches scheduled for removal in just over 12 hours. Good. Won't need to be so careful when bathing to keep the area dry.*
*For the first week I used waterproof dressings while showering, removing them & replacing the with fresh dressings.
Then I thought, fuck it, I'll just make sure the sutured area is dried after showering (hairdryer on low setting) and use an iodine antiseptic under a new dressing.
That worked.
1Password 7 has just been announced. It's a paid update, I could have taken the membership option but don't like to be tied down to monthly fees, so I went for the licenced version. This one licence allows me to use it on as many Macs as I have.
