@whoisashygirl Thanks. She certainly feels warmer. As far as she can tell, she was stranded for about 16 hours. Alone, cold, in great pain, unable to get help.
It’s only a fluke that I decided to visit, normally I do than on Monday or Tuesday & that might have been too late.
And I’ve put my back out again in trying to keep my mum comfortable while waiting for the ambulance.
My mother who’s approaching 88, fell out of bed during the night. I’m very distressed, I found her just after 1:30 pm today. She could have been there for 12 hours or more.
She’s been taken by ambulance to the local hospital, there doesn’t appear to be any fresh damage, only aggravation of existing problems.

I've done nothing all day except make a few cups of coffee, feed the cat & read few Kindle books in bed. It's a filthy, nasty, wet, cold & windy winter's day.
I'm really over it.
Ordered coffee online 29 hours ago. Package shipped 23 hours ago & traveled an average of 134 kph to arrive in 22.5 hours, it had to go 3000 km.
Made my first brew with the new beans in the Hario V60 that arrived yesterday morning. I need to adjust the grind one stop (back to where I had previously set it) as the coffee to coming through about 25 seconds too quickly for the amount of water used. Need to be a coarser grind.
Excellent, smooth coffee, though.
