I have an old (at least 15 years) Ryobi 18V cordless hammer drill, the Ni-Cad batteries originally supplied with it barely retain a charge now. I have other devices that can use the same battery, too. A wet & dry hand vacuum cleaner & a twin-tube fluorescent lamp. Fortunately, these tools can also use the One + range of lithium batteries. I have 1.4 Ah & 2.5 Ah batteries that suit these tools. I also have a "Hybrid" 20-LED lamp. This can be run from mains power or one of the lithium batteries.
