Amazing. My left elbow, affected by lateral epicondylitis has had a significant degree of reduced pain movement returned simply by having a hot shower. I’d noticed rather tense muscles in the forearm nearest the elbow, they’ve relaxed somewhat under the hot water.

Which is NOT to sat it isn’t horribly sore, though. It’s a dull ache until I exceed the current arc of movement at which point nasty words are uttered.

An exercise to relieve the problem involves stretching the extender tendon between the wrist & elbow by gripping a ball and gently flexing the wrist forward.
I experienced significantly less pain today whilst performing that action.

I can manage plain unadorned Android 7 on a cheap Lenovo tablet. My youngest sister still uses a Nokia Lumia 1020 running Windows Phone 8·1 and its battery is just about useless, only lasting an hour before needing a charge. She just needs a basic phone & it’s looking like she’ll get a new Nokia 6.1, which is an Android One phone. This means it will get the latest “pure” versions of Android as soon as it becomes available.

She’s a technological minimalist, so I’ll have to help her to set up any new phone/tablet she would happen to get.

I had tried on the Mac, wasn’t aware of the TopBuzz iOS app. It is available here.

Got three hours of unbroken sleep. Elbow pain & very cold weather making life uncomfortable for the last hour since then.

At last I’ve either relaxed enough or the cocktail of pills I’ve taken has kicked in. The pain from lateral epicondylitis (aka tennis elbow) in my left arm has eased sufficiently for sleep to be attempted.

Ah, but which platform are you on? Mac, Windows, Linux, iOS, Android?

It’s the thought that counts!

Off to get a Meloxicam prescription maded up, it’s a more effective anti-inflammatory than the anti-gout meds I’m currently using.

And now to deal with more of the tennis elbow pain, it’s quite excessive at present & I could well do without it!

Normally I can’t handle coffee much past 3 pm, but I just knocked back a very fine freshly ground medium roast Ethiopian brew. Very smooth with luscious, chocolatey overtones from the mocha beans used. Prepared in the V60 dripper. It’s 5:15 pm.
