@matigo One like this?

There’s a happy little community of Ex ADN-ers off on Mastodon, resolved to (at this stage & hopefully always) be invite-only.
That said, if any of you former ADN folk would like to play in a new sand-pit, here’s an invitation: https://appdot.net/invite/XShQcFMV
@henry, who started it up prefers to refer to appdot.net as “app double-dot net.” A few users have abbreviated that to ADDN.
@hazardwarning I have a different view on such injections. My condition hasn’t been severe enough to consider one but the way my GP describes it is that it’s treating the symptom, not the cause.
Last Wednesday I was feeling the effecrs of the tennis elbow condition quite severely and had played a few games of darts the previous evening.
I’m taking no chances this time, tonight I’ll avoid playing altogether.
Created an account for App Double Dot Net. Waiting on the confirmation email. Is there any way I can speed up the process?
From the sublime to the ridiculous. About a year ago my ISP added a 100 GB bonus to my existing 100 GB monthly allowance. A few months later, they doubled my allowance & the bonus, giving me 400 GB per month. Only once did I ever exceed the original 100 GB.
Some six months ago they changed my FTTN plan from 25 mbps down/5 mbps up to 50 mbps down/20 mbps up for no extra cost due to wholesale price changes.
Then 2 months afterwards, they took away my 200 GB bonus & replaced it with 1000 GB, for a total of 1200 GB per month. At this stage I was barely using 70 GB per month.
I’ve just received an email from them saying I will have unlimited data as from my next monthly bill, due on Sept 20th.
Totally ridiculous.
CleanMyMac X app now available. Cost to upgrade two Macs: $95 as a once-off payment. Or $40 now & $80 per year as a subscription. Ouch.
Viable alternative: Setapp subscription program. Around 120 apps available (I currently own 15 of them), always have the most recent update for each app. Cost, $10 per month or $9 per month if buying 12 month subscription.
Setapp is looking mighty attractive.
@matigo Really bad around 11 pm (three hours ago). Popped a few painkillers & grabbed an ice-pack. The later had the greatest effect. Quite good now.
Not a good day with the elbow. I bumped it while volunteering with a charity delivering food & aid packages. Just back home from the delivery run, I’ll use the hot water bottle then a massage of Voltaren gel.
