@literary Have you tried any iPhone/iPad apps on it?
The Mac App Store app has a setting where you can view & download iPhone & iPad apps onto an apple Silicon Mac. One such app that works brilliantly on my MB Air is the Pnut.io app ChimpNut.
Open the MAS app on your Apple Silicon Mac, click on your Apple ID in the lower left corner then click the "iPhone & iPad apps" tab.
It's potluck as to whether apps intended for a touch interface will work correctly on a Mac but it's certainly worth trying. @literary
M1 MBA has arrived & works well. Battery indicator suggest expected battery life is 19 hrs & 26 minutes.
MacBook Air arrived a day earlier than expected. Setting it up to replicate the old MacBook Pro via a Time Machine drive. I was able to charge the MBP & do a clone & a Time Machine backup.
My refurbished M1 MacBook Air has been shipped/ ETA Friday (it's been Wednesday for almost two hours thus far…)
Refurbished M1 MacBook Air ordered from Apple. It carries the same warranty as a new one, has a new battery & comes in a plain white box. That’s a saving of 9.5% on the new price.

I will be getting a base model M1 MacBook Air in the next ten days. That gives time for any decent Black Friday or Cyber Monday deals to appear. Failing that, I’ll get a refurbished one from Apple, they can be had with a saving of almost 10% on the new price.
@sumudu I took it home to do the updates required then returned it to the venue.
Health has taken a bit of a dive the
last two days, just when my GP's
clinic closes for the weekend. I'm
bringing up green mucus &
undefined liquids if I lie down. It's
better sitting up though. I'm keeping myself hydrated with cold herbal infusions and will prepare a "hospital go bag" in case the condition devolves into pneumonia, for which I'm prone to develop.

appointment with a registered GP
anywhere in Australia.
