Back in the days of the Roman Empire, the famous Emperor Nero instituted a new game. The players would take
those little disks you set your glass on in order to protect the furniture, and see who could get the most distance
rolling them across the floor.
They were the first roller coasters. Back in those days, the disks were made of iron, and they would bet on whose
disk would roll the farthest.
They called them ferrous wheels.
A woman answers the door to a market researcher.
"Good morning madam, I'm doing some research for Vaseline. Do you use it at all in your household?"

Annoyed at Apple Photos app for having lost some favourite photos, I turned to Disk Drill app, available via my Setapp subscription. I let it loose on a 32 & a 16 GB SD card from my DSLR camera. I found the missing pics and 725 others of which I decided another 56 were worth salvage. I’ve attached one of the salvaged photos. It’s of a church built in 1940 in a very rural area on a drained swamp.
In the market for a new M1 MacBook Pro? I’ve checked the Apple Store & you can get an M1 MacBook Pro with 8 GB of Unified Memory & a 256 GB SSD OR one with 16 GB of Unified Memory and a 256 GB SSD with both configurations priced identically.
One could argue that having more memory could offer more value in four or five years time.
Alternatively in four or five years you might need more storage than 256 GB.
Rage Against the Machine never specified what type of machine they were furious with but I reckon it was probably a printer.
Two no 13-intensity (maximum) decaf Nespresso pods needed to make a standard flat white as I like it. I don’t take normal coffee much after 3pm, or the gastric reflux will be nasty throughout the night. The decaf tastes sufficiently like coffee in a milk-based drink for it to be acceptable.
