@variablepulserate I’ve never had them go beyond white. That in itself is sufficiently inconvenient.
Strongly suspect my foot circulation problems to be Raynaud Phenomonen. Toes get cold, go numb & lose colour. Exercise & warm multi-layer socks are ther best fix. But when the circulation normalises, the tingling sensation can be rather intense, bordering on painful.
Pretty thorough, this mobile mechanic. He’s shifting his van out of the way, taking my car for a test drive. It’s in rather fine condition for a thing that hasn’t had the proper service schedule followeed. It’s 8½ years old and isn’t far short of 200,000 km travelled distance.
Thinking about my first few cars, they were real clunkers compared to this thing & it’s just a cheap hatchback.
Getting the car serviced by a mobile mechanic. He says most things are OK but I do need a new air cleaner filter. I had expected the spark plugs to need replacement, the car has done over 197,000 km. But the previous owner fitted iridium plugs before I bought it & they’re still perfectly fine.
Getting a much-needed oil change including new oil filter.
Entering hospital tomorrow at 6:30 am to have a camera inserted to examine my enlarged prostate & try to determing why it’s in that state. Being dropped off & collected by a friend. Procedure takes about 20 minutes under local anaesthetic.
We’ve had a good look, there are no more photos in Mum’s collection to be scanned. So her 1st gen iPad has had 1266 photos added to its Photos app. Being an original it still has the Picture Frame capability, it’s set to start a random slideshow (10 seconds per pic) with the tap of a single icon on the lockscreen.
In scanning the last batch of photos I found a telegram sent the morning after I was born from an aunt to Mum.
Mum’s GP is concerned about Mum’s health. She wants to send her off next week for a CT scan and then based on that either a colonoscopy or a endoscopy as she recently had an iron infusion & has blood evident in her faeces. Searching for abnormal growths. Possibility of bowel cancer. The history of Mum’s side of the family is they either die from old age, cancer or both, she’s 5 months short of 91.
