Just paid my share of the costs of new "office" glasses. They're a variant of multifocals, with a reading zone and computer reading zone. The new healthcare fund pays 65% of the total cost, old fund capped it at 55%.

@kdfrawg meat lump!

@skematica It's ready. I do it in a microwave cake ring pan with a hole in the middle because it won't cook as evenly otherwise. Any sufficiently large piece of meat will brown in a microwave if cooked properly.

Got some cheap lamb mince, onions, breadcrumbs, egg & varios herbs/spices. Meatloaf time.

Result of blood test: low in iron. So it's red meat at least once daily. A colonoscopy/gastroscopy is planned & we then maybe find out why it is so.

@kdfrawg That's your loss.

TIL that bread will go stale faster in the fridge than when left out. Conversely, in the fridge it's less likely to for mould as rapidly. I use very little bread and it's usually the more expensive sourdough rye/wheat varieties. So I freeze my bread & defrost as required.
I used to have 5 or 6 slices per day, now it's less than that per week.

Arrived at the nedical clinic for a quarterly jab. There's a notice saying the podiatrist I saw 18 months ago is now working from this clinic. Pity, I liked it when he was 140 metres from my place.

You're being silly, now! A squash is a pumpkin.

I like it with milk, not enough to curdle it, just enough to thicken the milk. Serve over ice.
