@joeo10 You could avail yourself of @matigo’s NextCloud via https://cloud.10centuries.org to be a repository for BitWarden data.
Dateline: March 16th, 2021. LastPass free tier will be available on a single device only. And from May 17th, email support for the free tier will cease. Users will have three chances to decide which device they wish to use as their repository for LastPass info. However, apple users with relatively modern devices can use Continuity Clipboard to copy text from an iPhone to a Mac & vice versa, this may be a way to keep using the free level of LastPass.
If users want more devices covered, it’s US$36 p.a. for individuals or US$48 p.a. for families, this is a similar cost with 1Password.
Apple users can also use iCloud Keychain to manage their passwords across multiple devices for no extra cost.

@jussipekonen Watching it now, on the Apple TV, audio blasting from a stereo pair of HomePods. Great scenery in the video clip, too.

@jussipekonen You should check out their Mongolian version of Metallica’s Sad But True.

@variablepulserate Legality or otherwise of the ripping process depends on where you are. Out here in Oz we’re permitted to make archival copies of digital media. The best modern app I’ve found for ripping duties is MDRP, aka MacDVD Ripper Pro, very fast & often updated.

@streakmachine I was given a very interesting device years ago: a 5.25-inch external drive bay with USB 2 & FW 400 interfaces. Inside was a dual-layer DVDvre-writer, that beast can be used with modern or legacy Macs.

Wandering through random musical offerings on my Apple TV, I stumbled upon The Hu, a Mongolian heave metal folk group. I can’t understand a thing they sing but the tunes & the beat is fantastic. Plus they play traditional Mongolian instruments. I love it.
@joeo10 We missed the chance to celebrate Mum’s 90th birthday in September, it was right in the middle of 111 days of stage 4 lockdown.
Was getting prepared to travel 3.5 hours away to attend my aunt’s funeral on Tuesday. Due to distance I’d booked in to a local hotel for the night.
Then an hour later the announcement goes out the the state is going back into Stage 4 COVID lockdown for five days, which included the funeral date. No travel outside your 5 km home bubble. Only leave home for four reasons: shopping for food/essentials, exercise, work or caregiving.
No more than 10 attendees at a funeral.
That really screwed things up. My cousins & their families frantically rescheduled things & now the funeral has been postponed by a week.
Mum can’t travel now, she’ll have to watch the video stream from the funeral chapel. She missed her older sister’s funeral three years ago because she was in rehab following shoulder surgery.
Annother really annoying thing about stage four restrictions is that even though, for example, my sister as chief caregiver for our mother can leave her home bubble, she can’t visit the aged care place.
