@kdfrawg Apparently so.

In my travels today, I spotted this magnificent beast.

Returned the chip bag with its foreign body
IMG_0521.JPG to the supermarket. I declined a refund or replacement as I'd sustained no injury & had enjoyed a full bag of corn chips.

Used my new electric deli slicer to make some cheddar cheese slices. Much cheaper than buying it pre-sliced plus the range of block cheeses ? is broader than those of the sliced variety.

Various online sources, some of these have been saved for 10 or more years. I don't throw much out.

27°C overnight, desk fan wasn't able to keep me cool so I dragged the "beast" evaporative cooler out from its storage. That's a 5-litre pot used to fill the cooler.

Was a bit to hard to chew. The thing is about 15mm long.

I have an interesting visit to a supermarket planned for tomorrow. I opened a packet of corn chips (from the bottom, as is my wont) and found this metal thingie

I had thought the product was just a bit too crunchy.

A couple go for a meal at a Chinese restaurant and order the "Chicken
Surprise." The waiter brings the meal, served in a lidded cast iron pot.
Just as the wife is about to serve herself, the lid of the pot rises
slightly and she briefly sees two beady little eyes looking around before
the lid slams back down.

"Good grief, did you see that?" she asks her husband.

He hasn't, so she asks him to look in the pot. He reaches for it and again the lid rises, and he sees two little eyes looking around before it slams down.

Rather perturbed, he calls the waiter over, explains what is happening, and demands an explanation.

"Please sir," says the waiter, "what you order?"

The husband replies, "Chicken Surprise."

"Ah… so sorry," says the waiter, "I bring you Peeking Duck."

The FBI and the DEA are joining efforts and will be assigning some of their agents to a quasi-FBI/DEA enforcement team specifically targeting the illegal allergy pills sales that occur on the black market. The agents will be called "Pseudo Feds."
