All we got here was rain, thunder, lightning & a massive temperature/humidity drop.

I'd been irritated by a persistent rattle coming from the left rear of the space behind the rear seats of my Toyota Yaris hatchback ?.. This tended to go away at around 80 kph but was annoying all the same.
So I had a look at it today. The floor of the luggage are rests on a pair of removable storage bins either side of the spare wheel well. One if those bins was misaligned and making contact with the plastic liner of the compartment. I shoved a scrap of cardboard into the gap & that fixed the issue.

A UV index of 10 equates to the sunlight intensity at midday on a clear summer day. Today has been mostly overcast with a UV index of 14.
That's nasty.

It is becoming increasingly obvious that David Bowie has established a better alternate universe and is populating it selectively one-by-one.

The outside temperature is dropping at last, rain ☔ has started falling, quite heavy with thunderstorms. A few suburbs away, there are reports of flooding. Although that particular area is reclaimed swampland anyway.

In my travels today, I spotted this magnificent beast.

Returned the chip bag with its foreign body
IMG_0521.JPG to the supermarket. I declined a refund or replacement as I'd sustained no injury & had enjoyed a full bag of corn chips.

Used my new electric deli slicer to make some cheddar cheese slices. Much cheaper than buying it pre-sliced plus the range of block cheeses ? is broader than those of the sliced variety.

Various online sources, some of these have been saved for 10 or more years. I don't throw much out.
