Can't stop the twitching in my right hand. Very difficult to type on a handheld thingie. The condition, thus far, has eased off at its own pace, hopefully nothing's changed in that respect.
Shops had sold out of the 50-piece cutlery set I wanted: it was ½ price, little wonder available stock disappeared. But the special price continues online, so I'm getting a set delivered soon after Xmas.
An alarm had gone off in a nursing home, apparently one of the residents was playing a bit of a prank. Certainly there was no fire.
Last Xmas I gave one brother a $20 Google Play Store gift card because he has an Android phone. These cards are good for 12 months & he has never redeemed the value of the card, just left it in a drawer at Mum's place. I recall it was a couple of days before Xmas last year that I bought the card, so I felt there was a chance it would come in under twelve months if redeemed today.
It did, & now I have $20 in my Google Play Store account. I'll use it for books & movies & reimburse $20 to my brother.
Emergengy services app said "Building fire in your watch zone, 1km distant." Then, one minute later I hear the sirens from the fire appliances. They're right on the ball.
Had to burn a DVD with the MacBook Air today, couldn't find the Apple USB Superdrive so I dragged out the old standby: a Sony USB DL DVD burner that needs external power & USB to make it work. I bought that at about a 50% discount in 2007 to use with a recalcitrant 14-inch iBook. I've since located the Superdrive.

A bit like Nissan & their 3.0 litre turbo-diesel oil level problem from several years ago: not enough oil was in the sump so Nissan retrofitted affected vehicles with a shorter dipstick.
