Had a wonderful plan to get out the mountain bike, bung some air in the tyres and go for a short ride. But an outbreak of gout in one ankle curtailed that plan.

Going to try something radical (for me, at least) later today. Pump up the tyres of my mountain bike, find my helmet and go for a ride.
There are extensive cycle/walking tracks along a creek a few hundred metres away.

@matigo Sort of. That park is easily accessible on the big scooter I inherited from my late mother. But there is a former quarry four suburbs that's been set up as a botanic park. This one has been difficult for me but now I can carry a mobility scooter in the car, it's somewhat life-changing.
