On March 18th I ordered a Miracast HDMI/wifi dongle from a company in Singapore. According to Singapore Post tracking online, the device arrived in Australia a week later. After a month of not having received the item, I opened a dispute case with PayPal. The reply email from the Singapore mob said to contact some person name eleven and be patient.

Be fucking patient! The damned thing's been somewhere here for a month & you want patience from me.
Before I could entern into further (hopefully not protracted negotiations with the seller & PayPal) the item was delivered yesterday morning.

One end connects to the TV's HDMI port, with a USB cable to supply power to the thing. This sets up a wifi network that my Lumia 1520 can use to connect to the TV via a companion app.
A little fiddling with the settings also had it connecting to the outside world via my home wifi setup.
I've also installed the companion app on my iOS devices & Macs.

No fucken shit, Apple? Dropbox was not responding, used Activity Monitor to force it to quit. The tried to reopen Dropbox app from the Applications folder only to be confronted with a totally STUPID popup message: "Dropbox app is no longer open."
