@matigo In a slow-to-appreciate way. Screenshots are much easier to take, but the split-screen process is a bit trickier.
Updated Nokia 7.1 to Android Pie when it became available earlier today. Very different in some respects.
Looking at my options with the ALDI mobile plan on the Nokia 7.1, I’d actually come out ahead by getting the $99/12 GB plan & topping it up with a $100/50 GB add-on followed by a $50/20 GB add-on when needed. This comes to 82 GB for $249.
The other 12-month data plan gives 80 GB for $249, but that’s all up-front, rather than waiting for smaller data packs to expire (they must be fully used, can’t be rolled over to the next pack.)
@hazardwarning There’s one particular ISP on the National Broadnand Network here that actually analyses a proposed customers location in relation to nodes, etc. A customer could request a 100 Mbps down/40 Mbps up connection but if the analysis shows the infrastructure can only support 25 down/5 up, then they’ll downgrade the request to match reality.

I upgraded my Nokia 7.1’s 12-month mobile plan to a lesser amount because I’d never use the 80 GB allowance plus if I had renewed at the same level, the unused 50.6 GB component from the previous year would have rolled over.
The plan has two sections, a Pay-as-you-go base plan that costs a minimum of $15 p.a. & the added data & unlimited calls/SMS/MMS portion.
The PAYG credit is used to cover international calls & video/audio files sent via MMS. I discovered another use for the PAYG credit: it can be used to offset the price of the $99 0r $249 Super Special 365 day plan.
I had in the normal course of events, accumulated $40 in PAYG credit so I chose to apply $30 to the $99/12 GB annual plan. So I paid $69 instead of $99 & off-loded excess PAYG credit.
When the 12 GB runs out I can add a $50 data allowance of 20 GB which may be all I’d need for the rest of the year, based on previous usage.
@matigo Very clear, it uses a 12 MP camera with a 5 MP dept-of-field sensor. The camera app is identical to the one used on the Lumia Windows phones, lots of adjustable Pro settings if desired.
4:50 am, the cat has jumped onto the bed to say hello. Or more likely, I suspect, to say “Feed me!”
