@c As Billy Connolly says, the North Sea is the Arctic Ocean with a different name.

Mac User Group's online forum has a problem the webmaster is trying to resolve whilst travelling on holiday: no-one can upload to the site unless they're using a mobile device such as an iPhone or iPad.
At tonight's monthly committee meeting, I suggested selecting "Safari - iOS 9.3 - iPhone" as the User Agent under the Develop menu in Safari on a Mac to trick the website into accepting that the Mac was an iPhone.
The Group's Secretary (who uploads more than anyone else) tried that trick & reported to all present that it had worked.
So we have a work-around for the more geekish users. The others will just have to wait until the webmaster sorts the issue out.
I'm felling a bit cut up. Tried a different shaving technique today, worked fine on one side of my face, dug in at least 5 times on the other sise. I used the last of my Proraso styptic gel on it, so I need to stock up.
An online retailer stocks the stuff, I'm going to check if their actual shops stock the stuff. I'm off to a meeting tonight & have to drive past at least two of their outlets.
Broadband router is giving false messages via its LEDs, claims no 2.4 GHz networks are being supplied. But I can log into the three networs it's spitting out in that frequency range. Plus, looking at the actual settings via Safari shows all is OK. I used a Mac app called WiFi Analyser to check which channels mine are using.
I'm the only local user putting out a 5 GHz signal so there's no interference there. My ISP connections are the only 2.4 GHz ones on channel 11, my AirPort Express has by far the strongest signal on channel 6. Every other silly bugger is on channel 1.
Losers.
@larand SE has a lesser FaceTime front camera, no image stabilisation or Force Touch. Otherwise it's a shrunken 6S.

Decided to catch up with family in the middle of the state in a magnificent inland gold mining city. Settled on a Monday/Tuesday as it suits my schedule & is easier on the hip-pocket nerve. There's my mother's brother & his wife in one family, their daughter & her family in another location plus another cousin & her husband & teenage kids.
I've not seen Jacqui & Jamie for about 5 years, and Uncle Mike for 2 years. The other cousin I met up with a few months ago.
Cousin Jacqui didn't have to change her maiden name when she married Jamie, his parents had separated quite early in his life & his father was no real father-figure to him. So he asked Uncle Mike if he had any objections to him (Jamie) taking on Jacqui's surname when they married.
No objection recorded, quite the reverse.
