@larand Several years ago I was tidying up the house prior to a friend coming around for a cuppa & a chat. I didn't realise the laundry trough had overflowed until I put my foot on a pathch of wet tiled floor. The water had a lot of detergent in it & the floor was very slippery. I went down, bouncing off the high wall-mounted clothes dryer and striking the top of my head on the architrave around the door. Scalp injuries bleed very freely, as did this one. When my friend arrived 5 minutes later I asked him to reseat the dryer as it was also in danger of falling to the floor. He never got his cup of tea, drove me to the hospital instead. They used a form of superglue to seal up the gash once the bleeding stopped.
