I've had a piece of steak marinading in a thick BBQ sauce/paste for about three days. The boss-fella at the Men's Shed acquired a 15 kg box of asparagus from a grower. The contents look OK to me but the grower assures us they can't be sold to the supermarkets because they're too fat and some of the florets that form the tip are broken. Big deal. I LOVE asparagus. The 1/2 kg bag I bought for $1 are hard & woody for just over an inch up from the base, leaving a huge amount of viable stalk.
So it's steak & asparagus for lunch today.

Dale, if you drag the right edge of your browser window the channels/people/posts stuff will vanish & the messages will resize to fill the available space. Incidentally, which web browser is that? I don't recognise the tab colour/shape. When I use Cappuccino on the Mac I do so via Epichrome app, which makes a single-site browser. Thus I can resize the window without resizing my main web browser window.

Epichrome works for me, you also have to have Chrome installed, of course. I have replaced all my old Fluid apps with Epichrome apps. Plus created a few more. But we discussed the on July 10, you said it looked like you might have to pollute your system with Google stuff…..

Fluid stopped working properly for me several Mac OS versions ago, I think Mountain Lion was the last reliable base for Fluid.
The only issue I have with Epichrome is that it sometimes refuses to accept custom icons.

PocketCasts works for me, I do have a PocketCasts account which keeps things in sync nicely. Even when I occasionally stray into the Android world.

Seems my jiggling of the dodgy switch on the LED bedlamp has been constructive. It works sometimes now.

So in about ten hours I'm co-hosting a presentation on Preview on the Mac & PDF Editing on iOS. The incredibly busy Mac User Group Magazine Editor/Secretary also (somehow) finds the time to write ebooks with iBooks Author. She recently released a basic book on Preview. I should take a look at that very soon, methinks!

There's been a major update to an iOS backgammon app that I've had for years: the game play speed is now faster on the second of three settings than it ever was previously on the fastest setting. Most noticeable with the iPhone SE. Yet to try the iPad Mini or the 5th gen iPod Touch.
