@ukhaiku Confirmed. It was deliberate.
Just received an email telling me that Thursday night's planned Mac User Group satellite meeting in an outer suburb has been cancelled due to the venue being closed due to a major sewage failure. The building owned by the municipal council and their own health inspectors have closed it pending cleanup. A relief, in a way. I'd been asked to stand in & do a presentation on backing up Macs & iOS thingies.
The person who was supposed to do it was attacked by a dog & has only just come out of hospital.
The Group's President has circulated a PDF via email, the BBS & website. The PDF explains about the sewage problem & I'm not sure she's realised the punnistic nature of the chosen filename "What a Bummer."
So you've had white presidents, a black president and now an orange one. I'm crossing my fingers for the Hulk next time around.
Ello account deleted. Web apps removed from Macs. Passwords etc removed from Safari & 1Password.
Reflux now at bay. I forced myself to sit up long enough in the wee small hours for the antacids & proton-pump inhibitor to work. The extra blast of calcium from a thickened milk drink (full-cream milk with skim milk powder added) sipped slowly also provided relief.
@skematica Some dogs are pretty good at the job & are less likely to try to consume the find…….

@kdfrawg By no means alone. Most of my real-life friends have it for the first time when I supply it.

Right. I have taken a proton-pump inhibitor, about 12 hours earlier than scheduled. Plus I have more antacids available. I made up some extra-thick milk by adding milk powder to some whole milk & I'm sipping that slowly. The calcium in the milk helps counteract the acid.
@kdfrawg Seems more like "language defective" games.
