We have the technology in the Men's Shed to do steelwork like this. So it makes sourcing Christmas gifts somewhat easier. I made this planter-pot wall/post mount myself. It's all cold twisted/curled & riveted with a single spot weld at the back. It's made from mild steel that's 15mm wide & 3mm thick. The equipment also guillotines the steel strips & punches out the rivet holes.
A few years ago in a Twitter conversation with @streakmachine I noted that Victoria is about half the area of Sweden but has only half the population, so the respective population density of each locale should be fairly close.

Been consulting WolframAlpha re population densities. The southern Australian state of Victoria is only a wee bit smaller than Great Britain yet GB has 261 people per sq km against 24.3 for Victoria.

Repaired the fractured bridge of some cheap plastic-framed sunglasses a few months ago using epoxy putty. Today a lens fell out when another part of the frame cracked. Threw out those $10 glasses. Replaced them with new polarised metal-frames sunnies for $20 more.

Tried using Bluetooth on the Men's Shed 2013 iMac to transfer some photos from a member's cheap piece-of-utter-shit Android phone. Bloody Mac kept dropping the pairing. Fortunately I had my 2014 MBA along, it was able to sustain the connection. Once on my Mac I used AirDrop to get the pics onto the iMac.
