@skematica Years ago I used to have VM Ware Fusion 4 on my MBP. I found the VM kept expanding in size to excessive levels. I'd initially start with 40 GB & it would frequently build up to around 70 GB before I fixed it by restoring to an earlier version via Winclone app.

Then I discovered the ability of Fusion to use a Boot Camp partition as the source of the VM. This stopped it from getting too big.

Mine is 66° in winter (heater setting) to 83° in summer (outside)

@kdfrawg A few months ago, in the middle of winter, a friend was heading off to try fixing a client's computer. The client called to say he'd turned the heating up to 13°C especially for the visit. When asked what the previous temperature had been, he replied "8°C."
Had to have been born in a snow cave, I reckon.

It's a pity the steak was off, my friend spent his teenage years on King Island, in Bass Strait between Victoria & Tasmania. King Island farm produce in general is regarded as serving the gourmet sector of the food market. He still has family on the island & they regularly send him such goodies as superb aged cheddars & cyrovac steaks.

Relieved. Was at a friend's place for dinner last night. He has some cyrovac rump steak that's usually fabulously tender & flavoursome but this lot was off, must have been in the fridge too long or something was wonky at the meatworks, he reckoned. Neither of us could manage more than a few mouthfuls, this was 14 hours ago & I'm feeling fine now.
The eggs laid by his pair of free-range chooks were magnificent though, and he gave me 10 of those to take home. We sampled a trio of aged cheddars, my 4-yr-old being judged the most potent but all were fine cheeses. I took along a couple of litres of farm-produced milk from two different dairies for hime to try: he's been bemoaning the lack of "real" milk but he's happy now.

Rotten bugger of a cat. She's just jumped down from the windowsill above the bed and landed on all 4 feet. Right in the middle of my not inconsiderable belly. OOOOFF!
