Brioche Burger Buns is my new retro Afro-punk electro-folk Slayer cover band.
@kdfrawg One of the supermarkets here sells brioche hamburger buns. A strange choice, I would have thought, but it's not that bad.

Confirmed with a fridge magnet: the lid of the MBA uses a magnet to trigger sleep mode when closed.
@bazbt3 Apple doesn't offer refurbished iPhones, all such stock is retained for exchange with faulty units that customers bring in for service.
Other hardware such as iPods & Macs are available as refurbished items, though.

I had my suspicions confirmed just now: my cat has the ability to put my MBA to sleep just by being in a certain location.
The pet door fitted to the outside laundry door has a magnetic catch activated by a small round magnet that dangles from the cat's collar.
If this magnet comes close to the enter/return key on the right hand side of the keyboard whist said beastie is being friendly, then the Mac enters sleep mode.
As this Mac laptop lacks an actual latch, I'm assuming there are corresponding magnets in the lid of the thing otherwise I can't imagine how closing it triggers sleep mode.
@sumudu I believe so. I've had much trouble sleeping because of gastric reflux but now it's nearly time to consider breakfast.
And I have tickled a .plist file on the two MacBook Pros so they can work with the Apple USB SuperDrive. When first released, it was intended for use with the MacBook Air. It was later that Mac Minis, iMacs, MBPs & MacBooks came along sans optical drives.

@jextxadore I'm unlikely to get into difficulties re regional coding because I have two MacBook Pros, a G4 PowerBook, G4 PowerMac, G4 eMac & a G5 PowerMac that all have DVD drives plus there's the Sony & Apple external USB burners & the big FireWire/USB external 5.25-in enclosure that has a G5 PowerMac's SuperDrive installed. And the G4 PowerMac has a Combo drive in its second optical drive bay.
I haz lotz of options!

@kdfrawg In amongst my collection of stuff is a USB 2.0 Sony tray-loading DL DVD burner that's about the same size as the Apple device. The Sony also requires a 5 volt external power source but if you have a spare USB port, that will suffice.
Reading up on the internet, it's possible that replacing the Mac's internal drive with another brand can help re regional coding. The built-in Apple ones don't accept firmware updates, apparently.
It's a dark art.
