This is not good. Went to boot my G5 PowerMac today, got weird coloured squiggles on the monitor then it stopped doing anything. Changed monitor, no difference. Booted into single-user mode, now giving Applejack a go on it. This is how the screen appears:
Fans are running flat out, too.
Arrive at darts venue, no-one else here. Then I worked out why. Daylight savings ended two days ago & the last timepiece I checked was the Amazon Kindle which DOES NOT automatically adjust its time, unlike my phones, computers & iPad.
So I was an hour early.
@streakmachine While the new iPad shares the same dimensions & screen technology with the original iPad Air, its graphics performance is significantly greater, according to Geekbench. Very significantly.

@literary As good as is possible. Until I do something stupid like twist too far or lift something awkward.
@literary Glad to hear it, Kerri. I've not been that flash myself lately but things are improving.
@streakmachine AFAIK my DC 2.3 is only exceeded by the quad-core 2.5, with two 2.5 GHz DC processors.

@streakmachine In my collection of Mac stuff is a G4 DP 1.25 MDD. That was often referred to as the Wind-tunnel because of the fan noise. My current DC 2.3 G5 was confused for a while about taking more than 6.5 GB of RAM & sometimes at startup would roar like a jet engine then fail to start. Fixed now, I've settled on 13 GB of RAM as sufficient.

@streakmachine Is that with the just-released Geekbench 4.1? Free for the next week for iOS.
iPod Touch, iPad & iPhone SE being upgraded to iOS 10.3.1. This will be the last iOS update available for the iPhone 5 & 5c models. The iOS 10.3 OTA update for the 5 & 5c was pulled after being available for a few hours. Updating via iTunes was an option instead, though.
I have no explanation why the update for those two iJiggers was pulled but the brief notes for 10.3.1 mention "bug fixes & security."
