Say what you will about narcissists. At least they're not badmouthing others.
There's a frozen food factory in this suburb. They have a seconds shop for stuff that's not suitable for sale thru the regular grocery stores. Reasons: the items might lack a particular ingredient, they might be over or underweight, unevenly distributed in the container, be packaged in a box intended for a different product or just oversupplied.
Whatever the reason, I can get fresh or frozen meals or soups for about 30% of retail and pizzas for 20% of retail price.
They also make several different pasta sauces.
Tonight I had spaghetti carbonara that was missing the expected amount of bacon. I added some alfredo flavouring mix my brother makes at (and smuggles out of) a different food additive factory. That made for an extra thick & creamy/cheesy sauce, in part offsetting the dearth of bacon.
A tasty, filling meal for under $3. I paid $25 the other day for four fresh meals and five frozen ones. Good value.

There's always a gap of about seven seconds between me answering the phone & the telemarketing twonk on the other end starting his spiel. I had such a call last night. The gap seemed longer than usual so I firmly said "Too late!" and hung up.

Indelible / inedible can be confusing as words, so simply rub some on your hand. If it doesn't wash off, it's safe to eat.
I have trouble spelling certain words correctly so I avoid them like the plaque.
@matigo The first version was the combo updater, 2.14 GB. The 2nd was the incremental update at 1.79 GB.
First time in a decade or more that a Combo updater has failed me.
Tried updating the Men's Shed iMac to Sierra 4 last week, it got hung up on the 2nd restart so I did a Time Machine restoration to its state prior to the update.
Tried the update again today, it worked fine.
Just the simple action of laying the G5 onto its side so I could get at its guts has left my back rather sore. Most aggravating.
