When I transferred the SIM card from the old iPad to the new one, I couldn't get the SIM tray out of the old one with the Apple SIM removal tool. It just wouldn't engage the mechanism. So I used the Lumia 1520 SIM tool. That worked.
Four days, 12 hours and 35 minutes after being ordered online my new iPad has been delivered. In Australia, from China.
A new railway depot with maintenance facilities for 65 new high capacity trains and a "stabling yard" for 30 of the trains will commence construction 8 km east of here, starting in a few weeks.
Bother. 48 apps on the iPad, 31 on the iPhone & 40 on the iPod Touch will NOT work with future iOS versions.
Things is proceeding fairly quickly. The iPad I was expecting to arrive on Friday is out for delivery today.
Found this on the jokes page of our Mac User Group BBS:
We had a power cut at our house this morning and my PC, laptop, TV, DVD, iPad & my new surround sound music system were all shut down.
Then I discovered that my mobile phone battery was dead and to top it
off it was raining outside, so I couldn't play golf.
I went into the kitchen to make coffee and then I remembered that this
also needs power, so I sat and talked with my wife for a couple of
hours.
She seems like a nice person.
