Fluid has been basically unusable for the last three years. Give up on it. There's better ways, I use Epichrome, an AppleScript thingy that uses Chrome to make site-specific browsers on my Macs. It's a little fiddly compared to Fluid but its very workable.
Plus, because the SSB uses Chrome behind it, you can translate on-the-fly.

One of the big supermarket chains currently has a particular gourmet icecream at ½ price. Went to but some today, but all the packs in that freezer we well short of being properly frozen - obviously they'd only recently been loaded in there.

Elsewhere in the store there's a Special Deal freezer & I was able to get the right stuff (& properly frozen) from there to satisfy my craving.

That is shiteful. Technically, such speeds are available on plain ordinary ADSL 1. That said, I could never get better that 10.5 Mbps when I used ADSL 2+, just too far from the local exchange. In my case, the NBN is faster by a factor of almost 3. I'm only paying for the basic 25 down/5 up package.

Weird weather today, now it's 18℃, gentle rain falling. Heavy rain has eased off, earlier the temperature was over 30℃. Got to get some grocery shopping done shortly.

Used CleanMyMac to remove 1.9 GB of unwanted iOS apps from my MacBook Pro. Many of the apps were App.net-related.

The lumbar stenosis leaves limited space to work with. Most surgical treatments provide short-ish term relief, OK after a year but not after four years or so.

Kill me now. Knee pain, back spasms and sciatica have now been joined by leg cramps.
