I sound my barbaric #yawp over the roofs of the world. The actual Yawp noise is conspicuous in its absence in thus latest beta.
Reheated spaghetti carbonara with extra ham, Stilton cheese crumbled into it and a dosage of freshly-ground black pepper. Plus a strong cup of real tea.

Spent 2.5 hrs this morning sitting in the sun directing traffic for a local event. For that, the Men's Shed group gets a substantial donation and individual members got a nice go at tea & scones + various nibbles.
Lovely Autumn day. Bored out of my skull directing (non-existent) traffic at an quilters expo.
@literary Way back in the day, Keynote was a stand-alone Mac App in 2003. Then iWork came along, adding Pages in 2005. It wasn't until two years later that Numbers (Numbles as a friend called earlier versions) made up the full iWork suite.
Various friends in the Mac User Group running older Macs that can't use the newer versions of iWork forget (or never knew) about the online version which just needs a modern browser such as Firefox.

@kdfrawg I acquired NisusWriter Pro a couple of years ago as part of a software bundle. It incorporates enough parts of LibreOffice 5 to work with Word documents. I have Office for Mac 2008 on my 2011 MBP but no version on the MBA. I also have LibreOffice Vanilla from the Mac App Store.
When I started using the Lumia 1020 instead of the iPhone 4S, I opened a Microsoft Live account, which includes access to online versions of Word, Excel & PowerPoint. At the very worst, if I receive an Office document that nothing on my Mac can display properly, I can upload it to OneDrive and access it with Office Online.

@streakmachine My favourite version of Office as such actually pre-dated Office: it was Word 5.1a and Excel of which I can't recall the version number but both were on my very first Mac, the 1993 Mac Classic.

@literary @streakmachine In our Mac user Group, I'm the co-ordinator of a Special Interest sub-group that meets monthly. As such, I need to use more than one or two web browsers, so I have as many as seven or eight, including Vivaldi. Several ad-blockers are available for that browser, including uBlock & uBlock Original
