The folk at Pocket just can't seem to get this High Sierra caper right.

It's only been noticeable on the MacBook Air following the installation of High Sierra: when waking from a few hours of sleep, the wi-fi connection is down. Attempts via the menubar or Network System Preferences result in continuous beach-balling. Sometimes logging out & back in will fix it, other time a restart is needed.

Try sleeping inside……

It’s just you……..

Woke up, having slept well in two stints, the first of 4 hours, the next of 3·5 hours. Was thinking it had to be around 7 am, turns out I was 2 minutes out in the estimation. Feeling much better than I did yesterday morning. Gout has mostly cleared up & the arthritis in the knee isn't controlling my life.

I surely did. Plus there wasn't a great deal of editing needed.

Retired couple in Bunbury, Western Australia, who've just won $2 million in the lottery are undecided whether to get a new lawnmower or to pay someone else to do the job.

@kdfrawg I don't have a Keurig as such, something similar, yes, a KFee Preferenza sold by ALDI at half the price Starbucks wants for their own-branded version of the same device.
I reuse the pods. Slice the top off, prise up the plastic disc that sits atop the grounds, scrub & rinse out the pod paying particular attention to the filter in the bottom.
Then add your own ground coffee, tamp it down & reattach the plastic disc. You're good to go. If not used immediately, wrap the pod in cling film. Otherwise, just pop in in the machine & brew up.
