I recall attending a meeting of the Mac User Group many years ago when the topic was a stand-alone app called Keynote. This app predated the iWork suite which initially included Keynote 2 with Pages 1.
Just found an Apple iWork ‘05 (Pages 1 & Keynote 2) installer CD. Now being installed on the Tiger partition of the 12-in G4 PowerBook. I’m yet to relocate the Office ‘98 CD I need for its activation code.
Booted the 12-in PowerBook into Tiger, intending to use Office ‘98 in Classic on some salvaged documents from a floppy disk drive.
No go: app wants a 10- digit code entered. This mean I have to locate the installer CD.
Success! G4 12-in PowerBook now dual-boots into Tiger & Leopard. When in the former, I have access to OS 9 stuff via the Classic environment.
Project: add a 25 GB partition on the 12-inch PowerBook’s HD to allow for OS X 10.4.11 installation. Done. Now creating a disk image of another Mac’s 8 GB Tiger installation. I plan to use Disk Utility to restore that dmg to the new partition.
Nope. That didn’t work. Ice hasn’t improved ankle pain, commencing anti-gout treatment.
