Phone rings. "Hello," says I.
Long pause at other end.
"You don't speak, I hang up," says I.
Still nothing.
"Goodbye," says I just as the other party started to talk.
Typical telemarketer.
Had another one last night at 7:15 pm, "selling" a power supply pricing comparison. Already done that, managed to score a 34% discount for two years without leaving my current (accidental pun) supplier.
So I wasn't interested in their guff.
"Are you the person responsible for bill-payments?"
"No." (I am but fuck them)
"Can I speak with that person?"
"No, not here."
