@jws At least with Big Sur more of the actual update happens in the background, so after the required restart there’s less downtime to finish the installation.
@variablepulserate Famous for killing a goose with his nose on a rollercoaster, March 30th, 1999.
Didn’t look so pretty with a smeared nose.

@sumudu Mine will not work here: the 2G/EDGE networks have been shut down due to limited usage.
Update time in Apple Land. First we have iOS/iPad OS 14.5.1 & iOS 12.3.5 for older devices.
Also available: macOS 11.3.1.
Good massage by the physiotherapist today. The next 5 visits will be fully paid by a Medicare Care plan.
Pool noodle on Amazon is stupid expensive, $14. go away. Local hardware has the same thing for $2.
Program for the day: get ready for Zoom conference with statewide men’s health & Awareness group. Today is their AGM on Zoom & I’m our local delegate.
Sometime today I receive my Apple AirTag, it’s with a courier driver out for delivery.
Midafternoon I have a physiotherapy session, he’ll massage the knee that’s been troubling me since Sunday.
Buy a pool noodle from a nearby hardware store: the leisure centre now requires swimmers/aquatic exercisers to bring their own accessories. I reactivated my Covid-dormant aquatic membership fees & will resume a thrice-weekly 40-minute exercise routine provided by the physiotherapist.
Then in two week my GP’s practice will arrange for what’s known in Australia as a Medicare Care Plan, which gives five free visits to a specialist of some sort, I’ll be having the next five physio visits fully paid by Medicare.
I can have one care plan per year, this is a big help with costs & access to practitioners.
And tomorrow, also on Zoom, the Apple User Group holds is AGM - the same event last year was the first full Zoom meeting held after a few months of intense trials.
