@streakmachine My mother does but we spell the word as cheque. Banks do as well, a cheque from a bank is used for large transactions like buying cars or laying down deposits on property.

Back in the days of the Roman Empire, the famous Emperor Nero instituted a new game. The players would take those little discs you set your glass on in order to protect the furniture, and see who could get the most distance rolling them across the floor.
They were the first roller coasters. Back in those days, the disks were made of iron, and they would bet on whose disk would roll the farthest.
They called them ferrous wheels.
@matigo I was being ironic. Just that you had a chance to fix the original post.

@matigo Apple does have a toe-in-the-water more-than-one-SIM concept with the Apple SIM, available in some countries & embedded in the 9.7-inch iPad Pro. With that device you can use either the inbuilt Apple SIM or a suitable regular removable SIM of your choice.

Having the first brew from the new bag of beans. I've chosen a medium roast this time, previously I've had quite dark, intense roasts. It's much more friendly to a reflux-sensitive gut. I used the Porlex Mini hand grinder & the AeroPress to brew it up.
A bag of coffee beans arrived on my doorstep sometime this afternoon. It had travelled 3000 km from the roaster in Queensland in a little over 24 hours. That's service.
