The Apple USB SuperDrive is taking longer that I remember to import that CD. In my collection of Mac hardware there's a dual-interface USB 2.0 & FireWire 400 box containing a 16X SuperDrive taken from a dead G5 PowerMac. That would have imported the music much quicker. I recall taking 6 minutes using a 12-in G3 iBook and a FE 400 external CD burner to import a CD several years ago.

Something slipped through the quality control re iTunes. One album of instrumental music should have had 9 tracks on it, the longest being over 16 minutes long. But there were only 7 tracks and that supposedly long one only went for 4 seconds.
I checked all my iPods, etc and could only find the missing stuff on the original CD and a MiniDisc dubbed from that CD. It was even wrong on the iPod Classic. So now I'm re-importing the CD into iTunes.

Had bad reflux & been vomiting off & on all night. Unable to keep food down until now. Looks like the breakfast fry-up is staying down.

That is what FruitJuice app encourages. Run it down to 20% and also used it off the charger for 20% of the runtime.

The actual quote is: "Power tends to corrupt. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men."

Motels in these parts tend to cost at least $100 per person per night. Uncle Harry's funeral is at 11am on Wednesday, I'll be driving my rather fragile mother there & back, an estimated distance of 400km each way, no way can that be managed in a single day!
The internet has come to our rescue, I have booked a two-bedroom apartment at a motel 4km away from the church & it'll cost a total of $230 for Tuesday & Wednesday nights. Excellent value.

Bus trip to a desalination plant today. I'm taking my Canon IXUS 95IS (aka PowerShot SD 1200 IS) as well as the iPhone SE. The Canon is reslly small, it just covers the iPhone's screen when laid on it.
I used that camera on a 3-week trip six years ago I lost the charger after one week but the battery was still good enough to last another two weeks.

Very likely to have been derived from the legend of Bifrost, the burning rainbow bridge linking Asgard to Midgard (Earth) in Norse mythology.

July 16th, 2012, 4:30 am. Woke up with severe burning sensation from my chest to my stomach, no idea what it was. Took myself off to hospital for a checkup & various physical tests, nothing found or diagnosed. Advised to take paracetamol when I was home again the go to bed and see if there was any improvement.
Got home, washed three paracetamol tablets down with a glass of milk.
Instant relief! "Bugger me!" I said, "I guess this is what heartburn feels like."
I'd not experienced it before, or not as severely as on that day.
