Managed to avoid yet another doctor visit today. Had I needed to see a doctor it would have been the 6th visit in 12 days.
I had a very nice cup of coffee at lunchtime, considering it had to be reheated in the microwave. Why? Because I spent 15 minutes running cold water over my left thumb & right wrist to take the sting out of the scalds resulting from pushing too hard on the plunger of the Men's Shed french press coffee maker.
Violent and almost boiling backwash erupted from the top of the thing which hit me on the wrist & thumb mentioned earlier.
Tip of me hat to whoever discovered the cold running water burn treatment method, it's brilliant.
End result: no blisters, no change in skin colour in affected area, almost no pain except when accidentally bumped, and even then it's nothing like it was in the recovery process. The incident occurred 10 hours ago.

Unused soft-sided 6-can cooler now contains my regular drug requirements with repeat prescriptions in a separate upper section.

Surround yourself with warm fluffy catz.

Happy to report cross-posting issue with Yawp Beta is fixed on iPad, iPod Touch & iPhone.

After having trouble posting from Yawp Beta to Pnut.io, I reinstalled the app. All OK, now.

Another test

Dermatitis has change the pattern of my right index finger, so I've had redo that fingerprint in my iPhone's Touch ID settings. The iPad is OK, it's only a few months old so its Touch ID is OK.

None. It's been shaved off.

Awkward keeping the steri strip wound closure & its associated dressing dry. My method is to use a pair of large vinyl disposable gloves, one over the top of the other. I wrap a layer of PVC electrical tape, sticky side out over the cuff of the first glove, the don the next glove. This is secured to the sticky underlying layer with another tight wrap of PVC tape. Next a wrap of thicker duct tape secures the top glove, half on the glove & half on my shaven wrist.
That hair grows back quickly enough.
