Men's Shed group meets Wednesdays & Thursdays. A fellow joined yesterday, (Wed), he's a relieving primary school teacher who's told his supervisors that he'll not be available for teaching duties on Wednesdays.

@kdfrawg Gives her pleasure, she's been getting visits from locals, too.

Took the SSD that used to be in the 2011 MBP, the one that died recently, reformatted it & installed El Capitan on it & put it into the 2009 13-in MBP I've been fixing up for the Mac User Group. Just for research purposes, though. I wanted to see if it would be a reasonable performed even with only 4 GB of RAM installed.
It does quite well, actually, the combination would be very workable for a light-duty machine.
The HDD is back in it now.

@kdfrawg As well as can be expected. Looks like she'll be having her 87th birthday in the hospital, though. One view she has, across a water supply reservoir is of the dairy farm she ran with Dad for 40 years.

Tired. Visited Mum in hospital. Can't concentrate enough to drive home safely so I'm having a snooze at Mum's unattended residence.

What do you call a Frenchman wearing sandals?

Phillipe Phillope.

The replacement for the LifeProof iPhone SE case uses an ofset rotary control to nudge the ringer switch between off & on. This means that because you have to twist the stiff control it's impossible to accidentally turn of the ringer.
There are a few lugs on the back of the control which is closer to the top the case than the switch itself. The lugs interact with the top of the ringer switch itself.

Claims IP68 rating. The LifeProof I used was the Nuud variant, it used no screen protector, instead sealing around the edges of the screen. This one has a protector. The IP68 rating means it totally excludes dust.

LifeProof cases for the iPhone SE tend to be around US$75 minimum. Mine was wearing out around the power/standby button. On Amazon I found a suitable replacement costing only AU$27 including delivery. Very happy with it.

Have you checked under the sofa cushions?
