Massive pain & stiffness in both knees. Walking, standing & driving almost impossible, sitting is tolerable & I can mostly lie down OK. Using various pills & potions.
The bastard noisy neighbours might have dubious taste in music, but I will allow them this: they always shut it down by about 11:30 pm.

That's odd. The recalcitrant panel heater is now on 21ºC. it wouldn't go over 18º for weeks.
Had a phone call from one of my brothers. He's dropped into Mum's place to collect some stuff she needs in hospital. He was quite curious (no-one's living in the house at present) as to why a frozen meal was out on the bench & the kettle had recently boiled as it was still warm. Told him it wasn't me, try our other brother who'd probably realised there was no milk for his coffee & gone to get some.
